Korpi Lawn & Landscape is seeking qualified driven candidates to join the Korpi crew in Helena. As a growing company Korpi is seeking motivated individuals to aid in lead our crews. As a landscape foreman with Korpi Lawn & Landscape you are responsible for installation and management of landscape projects. Korpi specializes in both installation and maintenance. As a foreman you will be employed year-round for Korpi. During the summer months Landscape Foreman will complete jobs as assigned by directors. During the winter months, Landscape Foreman will assist in snow removal

Job Functions:

  • Manage activities on the job site.
  • Manage personnel effectively and efficiently.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the customer and/or designer effectively for accurate completion of jobs.
  • Train and promote the development of subordinates.
  • Track and record all job expenses and hours worked accurately.
  • Always maintain a clean and safe job site.
  • Communicate regularly with a member of the management team.
Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in similar field of work
  • CDL Certified Class A within 3 months, with health endorsement and a clean driving record
  • Proficient in medium weigh equipment operating.
  • Knowledge of turf, perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees
  • An infield certification within a year of accepting foreman position.
  • Highly motivated, self-driven individual who is detail oriented.
  • Excellent attention to detail while working in a fun & fast paced environment.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills.
  • Good time management skills.
  • Availability for seasonal long hours and weekends.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals of differing knowledge and background.
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Ability to work in the rain and extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to lift, pull and push up to 125lbs, carry materials, bend, twist, kneel, climb, and balance.
  • Ability to walk at a brisk pace and work in a kneeling position for extended periods of time.
  • Skills to manage materials, and expenses, and good record keeping.
  • Mechanical skills as necessary to make simple repairs and always keep equipment in good working order.
Compensation:

  • Pay is DOE
  • Health Care 50% coverage after 90 days of employment

Salary: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour

  • Management: 1 year (Preferred)
